Are you nervous in front of the camera?
No need to worry! My goal is to provide a comfortable and safe environment for you. If you don’t know how to stand or where to put your hands, I will give you plenty of direction to help you look your best for your photos!
Are you worried that your kids aren’t going to all look at the camera for the perfect photo?
I have been a teacher for 10 years and can tell you that kids will be kids...all the time! I have patience and understanding of children and their behavior. My suggestion for you is to embrace the individual personalities of your children, because that is what I’m looking to capture! I want to get those shots of you laughing, dancing, and playing with your kids - in addition to those beautiful, organized family photos. The more relaxed you are, the happier your children will be to smile for the camera!
Do you want your fur babies included in your family pictures?
As a dog mom of 2 pups and an avid animal-lover, I say...bring it on! I love capturing the love between you and the furry members of your family! Whether it be dogs, cats, horses, etc., I’ve got you covered! I also love taking a few extra minutes after we’ve finished to capture some candid pet shenanigans!
"But Marie, what do we wear?!”
Your photos are a reflection of you and your family, so I suggest dressing in something that your family is comfortable in! If you’re most comfortable hanging out in sweatshirts or pajamas, let’s do that! If you want your family to be dressed up and color coordinated, that’s great too! I would suggest searching online idea boards for photoshoot outfits! If you would like discuss ideas with me ahead of time, I am happy to chat with you about it!
Do you have specific ideas of shots you want but don’t want to overstep?
I am here to capture YOUR vision of your family. So if you have found ideas of poses online or photos that you are dying to have captured of your family, I welcome you sending them to me ahead of time so that I can plan it out!
